Dr. Ghahremani and the accompanying delegation visited the Diba Nakh Spinning factory, located 3 kilometers from Darvazeh Quran in Yazd, on Sunday, 23 September 2024.
The visit was attended by Dr. Ghahremani, Head of the Central Branch of Bank Melli Yazd, Ms. Razmara, Head of the Foreign Exchange Department of Bank Melli Yazd, and Mr. Shivani, Deputy for Education at Bank Melli.
During the visit, while expressing appreciation for the commendable services of Bank Melli to industrial units, Engineer Damavandi stated: “By the grace of Almighty God, the support of the country’s banking system, and the round-the-clock efforts of our colleagues, today we are one of the well-reputed, creditworthy customers of the country’s banking system.” He emphasized that Bank Melli has always stood by them in difficult times, adding: “The path we have taken today with the support of this bank can serve as a model for other industrial units.”
Dr. Ghahremani, in turn, highlighted Diba Nakh Spinning Company of Yazd as one of the pioneering textile industrial units and acrylic yarn producers in the country, stressing the special support for manufacturing enterprises. He stated: “The most important duty of a bank is to finance production enterprises, and today, with the formation of comprehensive banking and corporate banking at Bank Melli, these enterprises can benefit from more specialized services without going through administrative bureaucracy.”
Stating that Bank Melli is of the people and for the people, and that its profit is summed up in the people’s satisfaction, he added: “We are hosting the country’s industrial and production sectors with a wider range of products and services.” Expressing satisfaction with the contentment of Diba Nakh Spinning Company’s managers with the bank’s services, he emphasized: “Despite the country’s foreign exchange restrictions, Bank Melli has the largest foreign exchange network and can stand alongside industrial units, including Diba Nakh Spinning Company, in terms of foreign currency financing.”
Highlighting that a key factor in the sustainability of production is the existence of a market to supply the product, Dr. Ghahremani stated: “Fortunately, this company has a good market for selling its products, and Bank Melli is also ready to provide any financial and credit services that can increase the unit’s production volume.” The CEO of Bank Melli noted: “Diba Nakh Spinning Company will certainly be a special corporate banking customer of Bank Melli, and we hope to provide better and more worthy services for the development of the country’s market and industry.”
